Snap is a great Windows 7 feature that allows you to quickly open two windows side by side, each using half the screen, by dragging each Window to opposite edges of the screen. If you have multiple monitors it’s hard to take full advantage of this feature because dragging windows to the edge can end up just moving them to the next monitor. So how can you take full advantage of this great feature when using multiple monitors? You can use keyboard shortcuts instead. Here’s how:
To snap an active window to the side of the desktop using the keyboard, press either Windows logo key +Left Arrow or Windows logo key +Right Arrow.
